Question: How do I secure the Greenhouse?

Answer: It need to be secured  to a solid and heavy foundation.  In the Assembly instructions on page 4, will offer you three different foundation options.

Question:Do I need to buy your base frame?

Answer: NO it is not required to use the Rion base, but most people prefer to build their own base frame out of treated 4x6 lumber.  The optional plastic base is your best option, it is specially designed for the Rion GH 34 Greenhouse

Question: Should I build a concrete pad or floor?

Answer:  No we suggest that you instead have a free draining floor using mulch, straw or pebbles or even just dirt.  Concrete gives problems with the temp. during the winter and summer and it is also slippery when wet and possibly frozen in the winter.

Question:You say it is easy to assemble, but how easy is it really to assemble?

Answer: The RION Greenhouse was engineered very carefully to allow for easy assembly, compared with other Greenhouses on the market, it is much easier to put together.  The structure is erected using a Push-Fit Connection. (the parts simply side together) and virtually no tools are required- except if you do a base out of 4x6 lumber.

Question: How long will it take to assemble the Greenhouse?

Answer: With two people working on the assembly it should take about 7 hours to complete the GH34 6'x8' model,  this is about the same amount of time it would take to complete a similar size item that would be make of wood or Alum.

Question: How strong is the Rion Greenhouse?

Answer: Europe's standards requirements are higher that those in the USA.   TUV (Europe's testing standard is equivalent to the USA's UL) has tested the product and certified it as being strong and safe.  The incredible strength comes from the engineering of the product and the high quality of if components.

Question: How much wind can the Rion Greenhouse withstand?

Answer: Customers have had there Greenhouse withstand wind gust of up to 80 MPH without damage.  The worst that can happen is some of the polycarbonate panels will be lost.  These are easly replaceable.  You might want to mark your panels so if they come off and you find them then you could put them back in the correct position.

Question:What is the snow load capacity?

Answer: The load capacity is about 1,100 pounds.  It is recommended that the snow be removed if it gets over 12" deep.

Question:  How does the unit get delivered to me?

Answer:  It will be shipped UPS.  It will be in three or more boxes depending on the size of the Greenhouse. It willnot be coming by Common Carrier.
